Our stay at Hotel Lisboa Plaza was wonderful from start to finish. The room and bed were very comfortable, providing the perfect rest after long days exploring the city. The complimentary still and sparkling water was such a thoughtful touch—especially refreshing after walking around in the summer heat. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy a delicious breakfast with our dog, Lola. Most hotels don’t allow that, and we usually have to take turns eating alone—so this felt especially accommodating and appreciated. After a long day, we were able to order room service, which was also delicious and exactly what we needed. When we requested a late checkout, it was granted without hesitation, making our departure stress-free. We also loved the beautiful terrace on the 5th floor—a peaceful space with complimentary tea and water, surrounded by cozy, stylish seating. It was a lovely place to unwind. The location was perfect: close to everything, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. We truly felt well cared for here and would absolutely stay again.

The daily breakfast buffet was amazing. As a vegetarian I had many options available and my husband enjoy new combinations daily. The hotel is classically older and our room did have the feel of needing an update - but it was comfortable and kept clean. The rooms are also large with nice amenities like robes and free water and coffee in the rooms. Lobby had coffee, tea and water almost 24/7. Port was available and complimentary in the evenings too

The initial feel/ musty smell when entering hallway/room. It quick dissipated and all the other attributes made up for old decor.

From the moment I entered, the atmosphere of the hotel captured us! All the areas are open to the public, and I was able to walk through the lobby, computer room, and reception bathrooms as if I were at home 🏠❤️ It's a very peaceful and safe place, with shops, hairdressers, cafes, and restaurants nearby. It’s just minutes from the main street, which makes it the perfect blend of location—close enough to the action but far enough to escape the noise and crowded tourist spots. What we loved the most was the breakfast 🍳🥐—a super varied menu with sardines, cheeses, cereals, fruits, and an exquisite bakery! Every morning we woke up excited to go have breakfast 🤗 The pet-friendly concept is fantastic. We didn’t bring our dog, but all the dogs we saw were well-behaved and affectionate. We went with my parents for the Sao Silvestre race on December 28th, and it was the best idea. Just a few meters from the finish line! In the morning, you can hear people and the garbage truck passing by. I’m not sure if it was staff serving breakfast or guests, but there was a bit of noise. After a while, you get used to it. But honestly, apart from that, there’s nothing else to complain about.

Had a great stay at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza. The staff were amazing, the reception was warm and welcoming and the amenities were good. The hotel truly is a heritage property and felt very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was abundant and the food was of good quality. We truly felt at home and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and albeit a bit old, had all the necessary amenities. The location was also excellent and the proximity to metro stations was a plus. The main squares and the historic center were just about a 15 min walk, which was great. I would absolutely recommend it for future stays in Lisbon.

Great place to stay, off the main street but readily accessible to great shopping, transport and local restaurants. The room was comfortable, pillows a bit too soft (this was a personal preference). Value for money was OK. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to answer questions and help if required. We had an early start, would have been nice to be able to take some fruit after a quick breakfast but it was noted NO food to be taken from restaurant. I would definitely stay there again, maybe in 2027 when we hope to return.

Fantastic location. Close to a metro station, easily walkable distance to the main sights. Just behind the busy Avenida road full of high end shops but so quiet. Staff were all very friendly and helpful The hotel has character and charm , not a purpose built modern building. We were in the 5th floor with a super terrasse offering free coffee and tea. Sat out for a short while as weather nice in December We had a ‘petite’ room with twin beds(as requested) but plenty big enough for us two Lovely touches such as free port, apples, sweets and fluffy big towels Excellent breakfast

Unfortunately the fan didn’t work in the bathroom and the water was a little slow to go down the washbasin but shower good No real view but not an issue

Location was excellent, and set back from the main street so it was nice and quiet in the room. Our room on 3rd floor was large and spacious ideal for a 4 night stay. The Petite gym was small but functional including free weights. Hotel has beautiful traditional decor and relaxed atmosphere, and some nice touches such as free apples, tea/coffee, and port in the evenings. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment.

The bed was quite hard and pillows thin. Sore backs after night 2!

Loved the staff and the reception. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I fell sick during this stay and the staff really catered to my needs. I needed some medicines and recommendations for a pharmacy nearby, which they helped me with. The kitchen was also able to cater to my food requirements and overall, I really felt at home. The hotel in itself is wonderful and so quaint. It has a very cosy and comfortable feel and I would absolutely stay there again. Keep up the great work!

The rooms do feel a bit old but maybe that adds to the historic charm of the hotel and the heritage feel. Nothing negative really about it. Would be good to have some more water in the room, as I do not usually feel comfortable with tap water even though I know it is safe to drink in Lisbon and Portugal as a whole!

parking, initially based on search said no additional cost and turned out to be 18 euros per day. confusion about when to turn in car keys to the front desk in case the car needed to be moved from the car park. day staff said to turn in keys, night staff said not to and they aren't allowed to drive the car ...it would be nice to have no smoking outside the front door as all the smoke blows into the lobby. all else was very good.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The building is beautiful and thr location is perfect. So close to a station and a tram to take you up the hill but also very walkable to key areas.

I would have expected for a hotel of this calibre you not have to go from the 6th floor to the ground floor, wall through the lobby and the sitting area just to iron my clothes. An iron in the room would be beneficial to increase guests comfort levels as I found this a bit ridiculous.
