I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express Dublin City Centre and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, well-furnished, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff were friendly and responsive, always ready to help with a smile. I especially appreciated the smooth check-in process and the convenient location, which made it easy to explore nearby attractions. Breakfast was decent, though it could use a bit more variety. Overall, a great value for the price. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Friendly staff on check in, clean room, double glazed window so no issue with noise on an evening, comfy room with air con. Smelled clean and room was generoused sized despite been standard.
Breakfast is chaotic. The offerings are good considering it’s included in the price but the buffet doesn’t have much room to get around leading to so many people been on top of eachother and chairs / tables so close to other guests it’s rather uncomfortable. It was a seating free for all but we weren’t aware of this so stood around working this out for the first day. Presumably if not in a peak season wouldn’t be as bad.

The hotel is centrally located. Unfortunately, it is also very close to the rough area of the city. The hotel is controlling access to its premises and there is a security guard at the door most of the times. Also access even to the lobby is card controlled. The room is small but comfortable and the bathroom is nice. The bed was awfully small for two people. The strangest was that there is no dresser, night table or any furniture where one could store clothing. They provide 6 wire hangers in an open area and that is it. We lived out from our suitcases… not sufficient for more than 1 or 2 nights stay. The breakfast was ok. The staff often did not take away the dirty dishes from the tables and the bread and pastries were stale. But the coffee was great!
No storage area in the room and a very small bed for two.

The most important thing about staying at a hotel is the staff. From the minute we arrived the could not do enough for us. They were all so friendly, helpful and smiling and that includes the room cleaners. The rooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Toilets, room and lounge area overall very clean. breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Security at the hotel was very good. and very tasty. The location is excellent, ideal for walking around the historic sites, but also situated right next to trams and bus stops where you can go anywhere in Dublin, and essential for those with walking needs. We walked and used the transport. It is also right next to a variety of pubs and places to eat. Next time in Dublin I will be staying here again.
To nit pick, as there was 2 of us in the room another chair would have helped, but that would have minimalised the the space, which is probably more important and to be honest we did not spend much time in the room.

Breakfast was good in terms of hot food. Location was good. Room was clean. Staff pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself was very nice although the dining room furniture was rather spartan.
It seems that whenever I book a room with Booking.com it's always at the back of the hotel overlooking aircon units, skips etc. Our room this time, yet again, overlooked the aircon units at the back of the hotel and was also next to a plant room from which emanated a very loud hum all night long which wasn't conducive to a good night's sleep! The window wouldn't shut which I reported to reception and although maintenance were able to close it we couldn't then open it for fresh air.

The staff is super accommodating and very friendly and efficient. We asked for 2 double beds since we wanted that and they were very accommodating - even gave us the option of checking out the room before we took it. The breakfast is plentiful and very very tasty and the staff was so efficient even when there were tons of people for breakfast. The rooms were really big and spacious and had lots of amenities. The hotel itself is very central and in a great location for tourists. The parking lot is also close by for those who have to park a car.
Nothing - everything was wonderful!

Everything went well from the accommodations and amenities to the staff. The free breakfast was incredibly healthy and included multiple choices...not at all like many breakfasts that are typically basic only. All of the staff from greeters to desk to wait staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I have known in over 50 years of international travel.
There was nothing I didn't...well, almost nothing. On our last night, there was a drunken person on the street below who was yelling expletives for a considerable amount of time around 2 AM. Police finally came which quieted whoever it was.

The staff were absolutely phenomenal!! They went above and beyond to ensure our trip was as pleasant as possible. From helping accommodate us for check in to sharing their favorite local coffee spots to grabbing us take away boxes for the breakfast! Huge shout out to Emily at the front desk for our seamless check in and going above and beyond! The breakfast add on was also great for getting the day started. We went early (7am) during our stay and it was not overcrowded. There are postings in the elevator indicating that 6:30-8 is the least busy time for breakfast !
Nothing.

When I arrived with all our luggage, exhausted after an hour fighting the Dublin traffic, the wonderful young man on reception found me a room to book into, despite it being not quite check in time. He then helped me up to the room with the luggage. I can't speak highly enough of the service I received. Room was comfortable and had lots of good features, bed was wonderfully comfy and I loved the pillows. Having breakfast included was excellent. Position was fabulous, so close to everything.
It doesn't have a designated drop off or pick up space in front. This can be really tricky.

Lovely clean rooms, very comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and big with a good shower, no bath but that didn't matter as i prefer a shower, the breakfast was excellent catered for all different people, plenty of choice. The only thing i found wrong was there is no plugs near to a mirror for when you are drying your hair, but i would definitely recommend this hotel-its in the middle of Dublin and within easy walking distance for everything you could want, and most important the staff were lovely and very helpful.
Just the lack of a plug near to a mirror and the bar food menu not very inspiring.
