Great location near Basilica di Santa Maria Novella, and Museo Novecento, which is only a few doors down. I had a Small Double Room--see Booking.com photos #2 and #28, which is located up the 5 steps to the right in photo #3, right next to the breakfast room. The Small Double was fine for me, but I'm not sure how well it would have worked if I had brought my husband. There is a good-sized desk and closet. The bathroom is small but nice, and there were plenty of towels provided, as well as disposable slippers. The air conditioning worked well, and I needed it in October. Sadly, the patio was not accessible from my room: I could open my windows and see it, but there was no way onto it. But this did not impact my stay.

Not that I ever needed them, but there didn't seem to be any staff on the premises...I only ever met one person, the lady who checked me in on the day I arrived. Luckily there was good communication with the staff through Booking's messaging system: I had to check out early in the morning and was able to get hold of a staffer who said that I could leave my keys on the desk on the first floor. I guess I am more used to hotels, which have more staff on site.

Excellent location, the Duomo is about an 8-minute walk, and the train station is also very close. There's a kettle, a mini fridge and a hair dryer included in the room, as well as a functioning A/C. Spartan, but clean and well-positioned. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is limited - some pastries, a stack of plain pancakes and some sandwiches. If you stay here for longer than a couple of days, it gets very repetitive. My main complaint would be the noise. The walls are paper thin - if a child runs down the hallway, you can hear it loud and clear, and if a fellow hotel guest struggles to unlock their own door in the middle of the night on the opposite side of the hallway, it sounds like someone's trying to break into your room. Same issue with noise from the street.

Something which I expected. Staff was friendly, beds comfortable. Breakfast is served from 4am which is very rare.

Upon check-in I walked from airport, it was not easy to get from the airport to a proper path, but I managed eventually. The path has a big detour because of fences everywhere, took me like 20 minutes. On the way back to airport early morning I paid 13 euro for transfer (only 5 minutes drive). It could be noisy in the doorway. Due to door which make quite some clicking noise by default. I think it can be improved by tuning locks and adding ads to ask customers not to slam doors.

Small and cosy hotel. Well equipped rooms. Easy check-in outside of the reception desk opening hours. Excellent location, short walking distance from all major attractions.

Very small breakfast room. If all guests were there at the same time, it would have gotten very crowded 🙂 No luggage storage room, but that was not a problem as there are a couple of locker rentals in the area if one wants to stow their bags for a couple of hours.

I only spent one day in Florence and for business purposes. However, everything went very well. The hotel is conveniently located almost in front of S. M. Novella, 5 minutes away from the train station and 5-15 minutes away from the main attractions (Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Maria del Fiore). The staff was very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was good.

My stay was too short (only one day), and I have nothing to say about what I didn't like. Everything was ok, and I enjoyed it.

We stayed at the hotel for a whole week. The staff was amazing, kind, helpful and also unobtrusive, they cleaned our room every day. Also, they were changing towels every day. Bathroom is really really clean. The bed was really comfortable, breakfast was full of everything. The location of the hotel is also perfect for tourists, Firentine Duomo is just 5 minutes by walk, and Palazzo Vechio is around 7-10 minutes of walk. All the important attractions were really close, yet it was always quiet and peaceful. There isn't many stairs and with the luggage.it does not make a problem to go to the second floor (which is arround 20 stairs only). We want to thank the great hotel staff, we would definitely come back if we go back to Firenze (we will😄) and we kindly recommend this hotel to everyone!

A great location not too far from anywhere but away from the hustle & bustle. Clean and welcoming with a simple breakfast which was sufficient for us to start our day. Weather permitting you were also able to take your breakfast out onto the terrace. Just a few minutes walk from the train station and surrounded by some very nice restaurants. A great gelato shop across the road.

Breakfast was unmanned which caused a little confusion as to what was where, dirty dishes on tables were a little off putting as it was not apparent that you should clear your table and put your dishes in the sink, if the weather was not good it could become a little crowded in the breakfast area.

Lovely big, comfy bed. Decent breakfast. Amazing location, a 7 min walk from the train station and walkable to all the main tourist sites (and right opposite Santa Croce Market!). Kettle and tea in room! (A necessity for me). Lots of hangers to hang up your clothes.

Shower a bit too small, kept hitting my arms when trying to wash. Walls a bit thin and could get a bit noisy. It's a 3 star hotel but doesn't quite feel like one but means you have to pay more city tax.

The room was double with private bathroom, very clean and well equipped! ! The location is very good, near the train station in the city center ! The staff is very helpful (special thanks to Mrs. Christine). Τhe breakfast was very satisfactory. Nearby there is many restaurants, mini markets and ice cream shops.

As the property is located in an old renovated building, there is no elevator. Luckily, we were on the dining room level, so there were fewer steps.

easy to get to the hotel about a 6 or 7 minute from the train station. check and entry to the hotel is easy enough with great instructions before arrival if you are arriving outside of reception being open. Our room was very big and comfortable with great air con and a lovely view of the courtyard which has a swimming pool from the nearby hotel, the bathroom was clean and tidy with good hot water. Breakfast was good with a good selection of rolls / cheese and ham along with yogurts fruit and pastries. A great hotel with a great location for exploring all of Florence.
