The location is absolutely great, the room is nice and the summer terrace loked amazing (though we didn’t have the time to go there)

The hotel has an old building smell, though I understand that it's difficult to fix that would be a very nice addition. There was no water in the room, maybe in the minibar, but I would expect to have at least 1 bottle of water as a welcome gift, I find this to be the minimum in any decent hotel. Beside that, being in Belgium a small chocolate from a local chocolatier would also be a nice touch.

Great location. I loved the location of the property though, everything was just a few minutes walk away and the bar/restaurant area is very well designed as well.

Poor house keeping service. Everyday they would forget to either replenish the water bottles or the used items from the vanity kit or something from the tea coffee machine. Once they forgot to clean the used coffee mugs and left the teaspoons in the bathroom. I'd have expected immaculate cleaning services for the kind of upscale hotel it is and its room rates.

Lovely looking hotel. The lobby, bar/lounge and breakfast room all absolutely stunning (as was the breakfast itself) Beds super comfortable Fantastic central location

Check in quite messy as one our party of 6 arrived early and checked in ahead of everyone else giving name of person who made the booking (myself) as well as her own of course. This completely threw the reception staff who then couldn’t figure out the name to room allocations. We got there - eventually. Rooms were very overheated - air con system needs attention Breakfast finished at 10am on Monday and granted I arrived just a few mins before as was unaware (due to complicated check in, we weren’t told times) Staff were not very accommodating and hurriedly starting clearing the buffet away at 10.05.

The location of the property was very good. A short walk into the old part of town, an easy walk to the metro. Close to restaurants. The room was a nice size and very comfortable.

We only had one breakfast in the hotel and it was probably one of the worst hotel breakfasts we have ever had. The staff didn't ask us for an order, the fruit salad tasted like it had been made several days earlier, the food quality was so so but I will say the bacon was cooked perfectly for me - crispy!

The shower ran cold or scalding hot. Difficultly with setting a consistent temperature.

The location, the style, the staff

In room allocated to us, the one bedside light wasn’t working. We reported this and asked for a new bulb. About an hour later, I contacted reception again but they said maintenance had gone home but they could ‘upgrade’ our room. We went down to reception to get new room key etc but when we got to new room, it wasn’t an upgraded room and we decided we’d be happier in our original room. Went back down to reception and explained and they then said it had been their mistake and the second room hadn’t been an upgraded courtyard view room. We opted to stay in our original room. They did offer us breakfast as compensation so we were quite happy.

The staff were amazing 😻 Specially the lady from Argentina 🇦🇷 she was such a sweet and took the extra mile . The location is wow and amazing if you leave the hotel towards any direction you will end up somewhere nice . Breakfast was lovely 🥰 Looking forward to come back after the renovation .

The hotel is getting old but the staff told us there is a major renovation is planned by next year for it . Pillows in the room or square , but I realise that the standard in a lot of countries .

The location was great, less than 10 mins from Grand Place and other sites of interest. The bar area was well stocked and all staff were first class. The hotel was just a really lovely place to stay, I will definitely return.

The room was clearly advertised as with a bathtub but only had a shower (the shower was walk in and excellent) and we specifically booked the room as it had a bathtub. NOTE - We were only there for 2 nights so did not raise this as an issue as the rest of the room was great.

Staff was very helpful and sincere. It was very elegant decor, breakfast was lovely.

The design of our room was inconvenient because it had stairs. It was also very cold. We didn’t have hot water on the second and third mornings making moving to another room when we had booked tours and plans very inconvenient, esp since we expected it to be fixed after our report on the second morning. Other than that and a couple other minor issues, the bed was comfortable and the location ideal.

The location was perfect for exploring the city by foot. We found that most attractions were 15 minutes by foot. Our room was spacious. The included breakfasts were good and available early for us early risers (6:30, I think).

The decor felt a bit outdated and in need of a freshening up - or maybe it is just my taste.
